Every pet owner has questions about their pet. Why do they do what they do, and what are they thinking. This especially can hold true for adopted pets. Often times we adopt pets when they are older and don’t always get a 360 degree view of their past. I know when I adopted my dog Remy, I was told he was 100% long haired
Chihuahua. Well, since he doesn’t look 100%, I had his DNA tested. While the results were inconclusive they showed trace amounts of Pomeranian and Chesapeake Bay retriever! Needless to say I am unable to attribute his behaviors to a specific breed.
So, where does one turn to get the answers they need?
